Abstract

Founded by Lucy Parke (Chamberlayne) Bagby of Richmond, Va., this voluntary association provided milk and ice for ice boxes to Richmond's poor. Papers include annual reports, 1911-1929, and account books, 1888- 1929. Bagby's daughter, Parke Chamberlayne (Bagby) Bolling, chaired the benevolence organization, ca. 1917-1929.
